Dr. Kevin Vaughn, professor of music at Goshen College, Goshen, IN, will present an organ recital at St. Augustine Cathedral, Kalamazoo, on Friday, 3 November 2017 at 7pm. This recital is offered in conjunction with the Michigan Festival of Sacred Music and will include a guest appearance by a schola of singers from Early Music Michigan. The concert is free and open to the public. A free-will exit offering will be received.

Christopher Dekker will perform a solo organ recital on Friday evening, 29 September at 7pm at St. Augustine Cathedral in Kalamazoo on the Cathedral’s 2002 Nichols and Simpson organ. The program will include works by Bach, Franck and Visser among others. Dekker is a doctoral degree student in organ at Notre Dame University and is organist for Hillcrest Reformed Church in Grand Rapids. This concert is open to the public with a free will exit offering.

Dr. Thomas Fielding will present a solo organ recital at St. Augustine Cathedral, Kalamazoo, on Sunday, 26 March at 5pm. The one work on the program will be the Byzantine Sketches by Henri Mulet (1878-1967). The series of 10 musical impressions of the architecture of Paris’ Sacré-Coeur Basilica will be accompanied by a slideshow of ecclesiastical architecture from Fielding’s travels. Free and open to the public with a free-will exit offering.
