The Lyme Regis Organ School Winter Residential Course is open to organists of all ages, backgrounds and levels of achievement. This year, the course focuses upon the organ as an instrument and how the instruments we have at our disposal influence the choice and style of repertoire that we play on them. Attendees will work with some of the UK’s finest organists through a range of talks, discussions, demonstrations and group study sessions in a positive, informal and enjoyable yet challenging atmosphere. As well as the usual high standard of teaching in small groups and the traditional formal dinner, this years course will also include a trip to Dorchester (St. Mary), Buckland Newton and Sherborne Abbey.
