CHVAGO Convention 2005 will begin with pre-convention events on Tuesday, June 21. Besides major concerts presented by the organists named, there will be 17 workshops, daily worship services and a gala convocation, and commissioned works by four composers. Instruments include two new installations (Schantz Opus 2228, 2003 – 3 manuals, 45 ranks and Fritts Opus 23, 2002 – 2 manuals, 34 stops, 50 ranks), several historic instruments, and “the most tonally complete organ in the world” (4 manuals and 350+ ranks) in the Cadet Chapel, USMA, West Point.
