Ken Cowan is playing a recital on the 1930 Skinner Organ at the Cathedral of Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. The organ was designed and installed by Mr. Skinner and it is entirely as Ernest Skinner left it 70 years ago. The organ is 75 ranks with 59 speaking stops and in excellent condition. Ken’s program is as follows: Widor: Allegro vivace (Symphonie V) Roger-Ducasse: Pastorale Seth Bingham: Roulade Wagner/Lemare: Overture to The Flying Dutchman Intermission Carl Bohm: Calm as the Night Franz Liszt: Ad Nos Directions to Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo, Ohio: From I 75, just south of 475 intersection, take Detroit Ave exit 203 to Detroit Ave, from North make a right (from the I 75 South take a left), onto Detroit take to Delaware (stop light), go right to next stop light which is Collingwood, then take a left Cathedral is right there on left.
