The interational organ festival, Kremica Castle Organ (Kremnický hradný organ), is the largest and most significant organ festival in Slovakia. The annual festival takes place in the Church of St. Catherine of the City Castle in Kremnica. A most significant feature of this festival is that while it takes place in a medieval ecclesiastical space, the organ that is used is a new, modern organ built by the Rieger-Kloss Company in 1983 the meets all the requirements of a concert instrument.
