National City Christian Church is located at 5 Thomas Circle, NW in Washington, DC. The organ was completed by Möller in 1985 and contains a total of 141 ranks (Chancel – 125, Gallery – 16). The neoclassical sanctuary was designed in 1929 by the noted architect John Russell Pope. Pope later planned the National Archives, the National Gallery of Art, and the Jefferson Memorial.

On Friday, September 29 at 8 p.m., Dr. Edward A. Moore, the new minister of music at National City Christian Church, will present his DC debut organ recital, teaming up with the church’s new associate minister of music, Marvin Mills. The program will include an eclectic mix of solo and duo performances (Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyrs”), as well as the premiere of “National City Fanfare” by Aaron David Miller. The concert is free.
